Not all workdays are equal

Most days get consumed by admin, interruptions, and mental clutter. Only a few actually move things forward.

WRK HRS is for the days that matter.

You bring the work. We bring the structure, space and shared focus so you can do what you need.

One designed workday can do the work of three unfocused ones

Working for yourself doesn't mean winging it. Even a tiny bit of intentional structure stops decision fatigue in its tracks, creating the conditions for you to make real progress.

WRK HRS gives shape to the days that do the heavy lifting. The ones you spend on strategy and big decisions. And the ones you spend clearing the backlog and work that's been sitting half-done for months.

What is WRK HRS?

WRK HRS is structured coworking for solo business owners. We run 8 carefully designed workdays per year in Wagga Wagga.

It’s a small group, with a hosted rhythm and everything you need to do your best work.

And the kind of focused day you can't recreate at home.

What people say

"I’m usually a bit shy walking into new spaces, so I was nervous about coming along, but everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It's a really nice mix of people, and I've made some great biz friends. Now I look forward to each coworking day to catch up with everyone. It gets me out of the house, keeps me accountable and gives me that rare chance to actually work on my business instead of just in it."

The difference between home and WRK HRS

Proof that location does matter

Working at home

Start the day “just checking emails”

Lose hours to interruptions and errands

Eat lunch at your desk

End the day wondering what you achieved

Working at WRK HRS

Start with intention and a plan

Knock out what you've been avoiding

Take a proper break with humans

Leave knowing exactly what got done

Structure

The day runs in focused sprint blocks with built-in breaks. You don't decide when to work or when to rest, the rhythm's already designed.

Why it works

Focus

We’re all in it together for easy accountability. The quiet hum of others working keeps you steady and on track.

Progress

By 4pm, you leave with real work done. Decisions are made, the backlog is cleared and your projects move forward.

This is where creative people actually get work done.

What people say

“Before coworking, I struggled to block out time for deeper, strategic work. The focused morning sessions are brilliant, I get so much done. The connections and accountability work a treat, and over time it’s become such a lovely, supportive crew to share the journey with."

— Ali Roberts, Professional Organiser & Declutter Specialist, Ali B & Co

You’ll wonder why you didn’t do this sooner

By 10am, you’re in flow. By lunch, the hardest task is done. By 4pm, you pack up lighter, clearer and maybe even a little smug.

You deserve real progress, not another “busy” day spent bouncing between tabs and telling yourself it counts.

Focus + coffee + company - distractions = actual progress

The ROI of showing up

Good workdays don't happen by accident.

If you're waiting for the "right time" to focus, this is it. One intentional day creates more clarity and progress than weeks of scattered effort.

If you're wondering whether it's worth stepping away from your desk, ask yourself what would change if you had a full day of uninterrupted focus?

Most people come once and keep coming back. So far, 86% of attendees return.

FAQ

Need more info or have a question that’s not answered? Reach out, we’re happy to help.

What actually happens during the day?

We kick off at 9am with coffee, a quick check-in and a plan. You’ll work in focused sprints through the day, with breaks and lunch included. By 4pm, you’ll have real progress to show for it.

Is this networking?

Nope. It’s working, but with company. There’ll be time to chat over coffee and lunch, but mostly, you’re here to get things done.

Do I need to know anyone?

Not at all. Everyone’s running their own thing, so it’s easy to fit in. There’s no small talk pressure or awkward let-me-sell-you-my-thing, promise.

I’m not from Wagga. Is it worth the drive?

People travel hours for a reason. We’ve had people come from Griffith, Albury, Narrandera and even the Southern Highlands. It’s a full day, allowing you to focus with good food and (almost) no distractions. You’ll thank yourself on the drive home.

Can I leave early?

Yep. Life happens. The rhythm still helps, even if you duck out early.

Can I work on any type of task?

Absolutely! From admin to creative projects to planning, this is your space to work your way.

What should I bring?

Your laptop, charger and your top priorities. We’ll handle the food, coffee and structure.

What if I buy a ticket and then can’t make it?

You’ve got options.

1. Move your ticket to a future date if you let us know at least 5 days before (aka by 9am on the Friday before).

2. Give your seat to someone else at any time, even the day of. Just email Rach.

If we need to cancel or reschedule, you’ll get the option to move to a new date or take a full refund.

What if I have a Zoom meeting?

No worries. Quiet spaces are available for calls, so you can stay productive without disrupting others. If you can let us know what time your call is, we’ll arrange things so you’re not disturbed. BYO headphones.

Is the venue accessible?

Our venue is accessible with ramp access. We’re committed to creating a welcoming environment for everyone.

What if I need special accommodations?

Just let us know ahead of time, and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable.

Rachel Anderson, founder of Assembld and WRK HRS

Meet your host, Rach

Copywriter. Business owner. Former serial procrastinator.

By day, I’m a copywriter and content strategist for regional tourism and events brands. By other days, I run WRK HRS — the coworking experience I wish existed when I started out.

I believe that working for yourself doesn’t have to mean working by yourself. I’ve been the person trying to focus between client calls and packing the dishwasher, and I know how much a clear, structured day can make a difference.

When I started freelancing back in 2018, I faced a steep learning curve. Once I discovered coworking, I was hooked. Now I've brought that experience to Wagga. I've seen the same thing again and again: when people get into the right environment, they get things done and actually enjoy it.

That’s what WRK HRS is about. Calm energy, strong coffee and a room full of people quietly doing their thing.

I’ll walk you through the rhythm so you always know what’s next. By the end of the day, you’ll leave lighter, clearer and (maybe surprisingly) excited to open your laptop again tomorrow.

Can’t wait to meet you.

P.S. If you ever came to a Cool Wow Collective coworking day, this is that, just with a new name and a little extra somethin’.

Proof it’s not just vibes

“I thought I may not be too productive in-person because I like to talk and I was very excited about being around people, however I was way more productive than when I'm on my own! I'm easily distracted at home by washing, Netflix and going outside.

The structure is great, everyone was head down during the work sessions which meant I had to be too (even when I wanted to chat). Having the extra space available for meetings was handy as well. It was a really fun and productive day. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one!”
